Content Operations Assistant – Publishing (Audiobooks, Formatting, Uploads)

We are a digital publishing company that produces nonfiction guides, ebooks, paperbacks, and audiobooks distributed across platforms such as Amazon, Spotify, Apple Books, IngramSpark, and PublishDrive.

We are looking to scale the team by adding Content Operations Assistant to help prepare our manuscripts, covers, and audio assets for distribution. This role involves execution, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured workflows.

Your Responsibilities

Audiobook Production & Uploading
• Convert audio files into required audiobook formats (e.g. MP3, LPL)
• Upload completed audiobooks to Spotify/Findaway, Authors Republic, or other platforms
• Ensure metadata (authors, ISBN, descriptions) is correctly entered

Manuscript Preparation & Formatting
• Format manuscripts into PDF, EPUB, and DOCX as required
• Apply layout templates, headers, footers, and chapter structure
• Insert images, tables, or graphics as needed
• Conduct quality checks for formatting issues

Platform Management / Uploads
• Upload ebooks and print-ready files to:
• IngramSpark (POD)
• PublishDrive
• Ensure BISAC categories, keywords, pricing, metadata fields are properly filled
• Track upload errors and implement corrections

General Publishing Operations
• Prepare basic cover design variations (using Canva or templates)
• Assist with metadata organization, ISBN assignment, and export logs
• Support other operational tasks related to publishing and content workflows
