JOB OVERVIEW

Objective of the Role: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and permits. They will work closely with the operations team to coordinate the necessary permits and approvals for each project, while also managing the overall construction process.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the ops team to ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner, and that the project is in compliance with all relevant regulations and codes

• Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and making adjustments as needed

• Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

• Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring that they are qualified, reliable, and adhere to project specifications and timelines

• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing any concerns or questions, and managing expectations

• Prepare and submit project documentation, including permits, reports, and change orders, in a timely and accurate manner

• Collaborate with the appropriate teams to review project plans and specifications, identify any potential issues or conflicts, and propose solutions

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring that the company's construction processes and procedures are in compliance and continuously improved

Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in the permit expediting or related industry

• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Proficiency in project management software and tools, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with the ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
