We are a Melbourne based residential building company looking for a construction estimator to work directly with the business owner. The successful applicant will complete day-to-day admin tasks and residential construction estimating to help us directly to delivery fast communication to the team and produce quality estimates on projects being priced by the company run efficiently. You will work closely with the director daily in a rewarding working environment, and your income will be based on your previous experience with the ability to grow with the company.


Construction Estimator tasks
• Accurate QS take off’s / complete set off mark ups
• Understanding and interpreting construction drawings
• Data entry into estimating software
• Reaching out to relevant subtrades for pricing
• Producing scope of work
• Producing construction schedules

Position requirements
• Proficient with MS office (EXCEL, word etc.)
• Basic CANVA skills
• Speak very good English / competent in estimating software
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
• Applicant must have a positive attitude towards change
• Able to identify the need, remove the barriers
• Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people
• Has good common sense and applied logic
