JOB OVERVIEW

PATIENT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE CLINIC (REMOTE, PART-TIME)

Natural / Functional Medicine Health Clinic | Remote | 20-30 hrs/week | $800 - $1,500/month (~45,000 - 84,000 PHP)

Long-term part-time role with room to grow. Not a freelance or side-job position. Individual applicants only.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a growing functional medicine health clinic working with patients worldwide using advanced lab testing, nutrition, and personalized health protocols.

This role covers patient communication, lab coordination, supplement ordering and inventory, clinic operations, executive support, and light newsletter and marketing support. Hours start at 20-30 per week within 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST and grow as task mastery improves.

This role is for someone who is highly detail oriented, double and triple checks every task, communicates clearly with patients, and follows instructions precisely without supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Patient emails, scheduling, and customer service - resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Lab test ordering (GI-MAP, DUTCH, OAT, blood panels), requisition forms, and result tracking
- Supplement orders, inventory management, invoicing, and shipping coordination
- Patient file organization, task tracking, and clinic system support
- Blog posts, email newsletters, and AI-assisted content (ChatGPT, Claude)

COMPENSATION & TIME OFF

$800 - $1,500 USD/month based on experience | ~45,000 - 84,000 PHP/month
1-4 weeks paid time off per year based on tenure, reliability, and performance

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Detail oriented with a habit of double and triple checking work
- Strong written and spoken English with a professional patient-facing tone
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks without supervision
- Bonus: healthcare, functional medicine, patient coordination, or inventory experience

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Reliable high-speed internet, quiet workspace, modern computer
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive)
- AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude are a plus
