JOB OVERVIEW

Palmetto Medicare Advisors is hiring a detail-oriented Medicare Retention & Eligibility Follow-Up Assistant to help protect and service our Medicare client base after enrollment.

This role is not a sales role. The main responsibility is to contact recently enrolled Medicare members at key follow-up points, identify members who may be at risk of terminating or changing plans, track Chronic Special Needs Plan eligibility follow-up, and escalate issues to a licensed agent or manager.

The right person is organized, reliable, comfortable speaking with seniors over the phone, and extremely consistent with documentation. Must have exceptional English and reliable internet connection.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Call newly enrolled Medicare clients after enrollment at 30, 60, and 90-day checkpoints
2. Confirm that members received their plan card and understand next steps
3. Identify members who are confused, dissatisfied, difficult to reach, or likely to switch plans
4. Document every call clearly in the CRM
5. Track members who mention doctor, drug, pharmacy, billing, transportation, OTC, or plan-card issues
6. Escalate urgent or plan-specific issues to a licensed agent
7. Track C-SNP members who may need eligibility verification or provider follow-up
8. Follow up with members who have not completed required carrier steps
9. Help reduce preventable chargebacks, plan terminations, and member confusion
10. Maintain daily follow-up lists and report completed calls, unreachable clients, and high-risk members
