Job Title

Chef’s Assistant (Remote) – Culinary Background Required

About the Role

I run a growing personal chef and culinary services company in the U.S. This is not a generic VA role.

I’m looking for a chef or culinary professional who wants to step out of the kitchen heat and into the backend of a real food business — learning how menus, logistics, clients, and systems actually work.

You will work directly with me and support the day-to-day thinking of a working chef. If you want to grow, learn, and humble yourself to mastery, this role can evolve into something very valuable long-term.

If you want to “run things” or skip learning — this is not for you.

Who This Is For

? Culinary school graduate, line cook, prep cook, or kitchen manager
? Strong English (written + spoken)
? Highly organized and detail-oriented
? Comfortable taking direction and feedback
? Wants to learn food business systems, not just complete tasks

Responsibilities

Build and organize grocery lists fro ---------- nus

Review menus for duplicate ingredients or conflicts

Draft and organize client emails with food awareness

Assist with scheduling, task organization, and follow-ups

Make calls and send emails professionally

Organize recipes, menus, SOPs, and documents

Support day-to-day admin tasks with culinary context

Learn how a real chef business operates behind the scenes

Over time, you may help pre-draft menus, prep client communications, and assist with higher-level organization.

Requirements

Culinary background (school or professional kitchen experience)

Excellent written English

Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, email, and basic tools

Reliable internet and quiet workspace

Willing to learn and grow

Able to follow instructions precisely

Schedule & Pay

Part-time to start (20–30 hours/week)

Fully remote

Pay based on experience (discussed during interview)
