Background:
I'm the owner of a growing real estate company in New Hampshire focused on managing residential rentals. We're currently in growth mode and looking to build out a long-term technical foundation that can support a future-facing operation at scale. I’m seeking a technical generalist who can work with us on an ad hoc, ongoing basis to support CRM, database, and workflow automation setup.
This is a strategic role, not just a one-off project.
Immediate Priority:
Set up a visual CRM/workflow system (e.g., EspoCRM, Kanboard, Odoo, or similar)
Configure drag-and-drop leasing pipeline:
Inquiry > Preapproval > Showing > Application > Approval/Denial > Invitation to Rent > Lease Signing > Move-In
Handle multiple inquiries per lead (many-to-one relationship)
Add automation (e.g., inactivity reminders, auto-stage progressions)
Forward-Looking Needs:
Design and maintain a central business database (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred)
Store structured data on inquiries, showings, applications, and tenant actions
Make data queryable for reporting and future integrations
Eventually integrate this data with business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Metabase, Superset, or Grafana
Tech Requirements:
Experience with CRM/ERP platforms (EspoCRM, Odoo, ERPNext, SuiteCRM, etc.)
Comfortable with hosting tools on a Linux or Windows box
Database design and administration skills
Automation experience (Zapier, n8n, custom scripts)
Basic API/webhook knowledge
Bonus if you have:
Real estate or leasing system familiarity
BI/reporting experience
Comfort documenting systems for handoff or training
Pay: $10–15/hr depending on experience. We’re looking for someone long-term and part-time, with occasional bursts of work. You will not be on call, but we’d like to be able to send you
