As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Copy Editor to help us further elevate the SuperCare brand.
THE ROLE
The Copy Editor plays a crucial role in ensuring an engaging Client Experience in every touchpoint that reflects the SuperCare brand.
Responsible for implementing the Content Marketing Strategy as an important part of the overall Marketing and Brand Strategies. Create content that reinforce the SuperCare brand identity and enhance brand recognition while building credibility.
Ensure that all content complies with high standards as well as all regulatory requirements before they get published.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Content Marketing
Create engaging and relevant content that is consistent with SuperCare Brand Voice
Review, proofread, and edit content created by other writers, including blog and social media posts, articles, and website
Ensure that service descriptions are accurate, persuasive, and highlight SuperCare’s compelling value proposition
SEO Optimization – optimise content for search engines to ensure high brand visibility and reach
2. Corporate Communications/ Press Release
Create or polish internal and external communications to maintain a professional and cohesive brand image; this includes memorandum, press release, newsletter, and reports
3. Quality Assurance
Maintain SuperCare Brand Voice by ensuring that all content across all platforms adhere to the Brand Guidelines
Gather customer feedback to ensure that all published content meet the target audience needs and expectations
Fact-Checking - Verify facts, statistics, references, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy and credibility
4. Legal and Ethical Compliance
Ensures all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, protecting the brand from potential issues
Maintains ethical standards in all communications, which helps build a positive and trustworthy brand image
Ensure that there are no issues related to plagiarism or copyright infringement
THE PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
Preferably with bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or any related course
At least 2 years of substantial work experience as a Copy Editor, preferably in the service industry
Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
