Estate Planning Drafting Paralegal – Job Description
Job Title: Drafting Paralegal
Department: Estate Planning Department
Reports To: Office Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing/supervising daily activities of document preparation for client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Acts of Donation, and other ancillary documents. Handling client inquiries via telephone, gathering necessary information to prepare all legal estate planning documentation in a precise manner, interfacing with attorneys and support staff in real time to generate documents for signing meetings, and performing technical duties as needed on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• On-going technical training/direct supervision of Legal Drafting departmental staff;
• Perform thorough preparation, review, final drafts for client signature of all estate plans;
• Provide excellent client service by promptly returning client phone calls daily and resolving client needs in a sensitive and efficient manner;
• Troubleshoot and correct drafting related issues encountered by staff in real time;
• Utilize existing matter and document production technology, software, and systems;
• Review and prepare legal property (land) descriptions for Acts of Transfer and Donations;
• Maintain client confidentiality;
• All other projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
BA or BS degree and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience required.
