CEBU Camera Operator — Narrative Feature (Contained Thriller)

I'm shooting a contained, character-driven thriller in Cebu and looking for a camera operator who lives for narrative work, not weddings or corporate. You'll operate alongside the director and DP to capture performance, tension, and tight intimate spaces — the kind of shoot where framing and patience matter more than gear flexing.
This is a real production with a US director (25+ years in film and TV) and an experienced team. It's indie-budget but run professionally, and it's the start of an ongoing slate — so I'm watching for someone I can bring back, not just fill a seat.
What you'll do:

Operate camera on set under the DP/director, shot to shot
Handle handheld, tripod, and gimbal/stabilized work for a fast-moving thriller
Hold composition and focus discipline through long, emotional takes
Keep pace on a tight schedule without losing image quality

You are:

Experienced on narrative sets (short films, features, or proven Binisaya/indie credits)
Comfortable in low light, confined spaces, and tense intimate scenes
Calm and fast under a demanding schedule
A team player who takes direction cleanly and protects the shot

You are not:

Primarily a corporate/event/wedding shooter
Someone who needs constant hand-holding or who flusters when the day runs long

Bonus: your own camera/lens kit or gimbal, color/DIT familiarity, or local Cebu location knowledge.
