Business Process Analyst

Position Summary
The Business Process Analyst (BPA) will be responsible for documenting, analyzing, improving, and scaling the workflows that power ProfitGrid.

This individual will work closely with:
Chief AI Architect
Head of Accounting Operations
Product and Development Teams
Bookkeeping and Accounting Operations Team (PH)
Customer Success and Onboarding Teams
Future AI and Automation Initiatives

The BPA will serve as the bridge between business operations, accounting workflows, software development, and AI-enabled process automation.
This is not a traditional reporting or analytics role.
This is a process architecture role.

Primary Responsibilities
Process Documentation & Workflow Design
Document current-state workflows
Create future-state workflows
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
Build standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Create process maps and workflow diagrams
Develop scalable onboarding processes

Accounting & Financial Operations
Work closely with accounting leadership to document and optimize:
Bookkeeping workflows
Month-end close procedures
Chart of accounts standardization
Data normalization processes
Financial reporting workflows
Customer onboarding procedures
Cross-client consistency
KPI and Metrics Library
Process controls and review checkpoints
Reporting template standardization

AI & Automation Enablement
Partner with the Chief AI Architect to:
Identify automation opportunities
Document human-in-the-loop workflows
Define exception handling procedures
Support AI implementation initiatives
Improve process efficiency through automation

Product & Development Collaboration
Work with product and engineering teams to:
Translate business requirements into workflows
Document user stories and business requirements
Assist with process-related testing and validation
Ensure operational processes align with software capabilities

Customer Onboarding & Scaling
Help design scalable systems for:
Customer onboarding
Data migration
QBO integration
User setup
Benchmarking workflows
Customer success operations
Continuous Improvement
Analyze operational performance
Measure process effectiveness
Recommend improvements
Create KPIs for internal workflows
Support operational scaling initiatives
