JOB OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter and categorize all transactions in Xero daily.
Issue client invoices.
Track AR aging weekly and follow up on outstanding balances.
Record incoming payments and reconcile against open invoices.
Execute a bookkeeping catch-up project to bring all accounts current.
Perform bank reconciliation across multiple accounts monthly.
Catch-up work prioritized in the first 30–60 days alongside ongoing tasks.
GUIDELINES
Xero is the system of record. Clean data is essential.
Flag anything that doesn't match.
2+ years bookkeeping experience required. Xero required. QuickBooks a plus.
ACTIVITIES
Weekly: AR aging review, collections follow-up, invoice queue.
Monthly: bank reconciliation, Xero account cleanup, catch-up progress update.
DAILY ACTIVITIES
Post transactions. Issue invoices. Record receipts. Flag any mismatches or collection issues same day.
