As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeper to join our team remotely from the Philippines.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper who is familiar with Australian accounting practices and has proficiency in Xero. This is a remote position, perfect for a self-motivated professional who can work independently while contributing to our overall financial health.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Xero for Australian businesses
- Degree qualified in Accounting or a similar discipline
- Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll certifications
- Proficiency in Excel and email communication
- Fluent in spoken and written English

Key Responsibilities:
- Xero Management:
- Monitor bank feeds and import transactions
- Code items correctly using the chart of accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS
- Generate financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
- Enter expense claims and petty cash

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage payment schedules and invoice entry
- Prepare bills for client approval
- Assist with invoicing and sending statements

Payroll Processing:
- Manage employee onboarding in Xero
- Process payroll using Xero STP and prepare reporting
- Prepare payroll reports and complete month-end processes (journals)

Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports as required
- Create cash flow budgets and forecasts

Additional Skills:
- Experience with Xero add-ons (HubDoc, Deputy, Receipt Bank)
- Experience with POS systems – Stripe, Square, Kounta
- Familiarity with Australian GST rules
- Strong attention to detail
