JOB OVERVIEW

One of Australias leading accountancy BPO's is seeking an experienced book keeper for our client- a thriving Australian accounting firm.

This full time role allows you the flexibility for working-from-home (WFH). Australian business hours. This role represents an opportunity for career growth and development, mentorship and gaining valuable Australian accounting experience.

Key responsibilities for the role include.

- Managing book keeping.
- Recording journal entires.
- Accounts payable and receivable.
- Managing payroll for clients.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Pay run processing.
- Preparing basic financial reports such as P&L
- Assisting senior staff with preparation of Tax Returns
-Assisting senior staff with preparation of BAS and GST.
- ASIC compliance.
-Answering incoming phone calls

Key requirements for this role are.
(These are mandatory for your application to be considered).

- Expertise in Xero. Both Xero Bookeeping AND Xero Payroll.
- At least 3 years experience with Xero.
- At least 1 year experience working with Australian accounting firm specifically.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal.
