Back-end Web Developer

Our Company is looking for a Back-end Web Developer, who will be responsible for the render server-side, including the creation and edition of WordPress themes and plugins. This person should understand industry trends, content management systems, and the entire web development process.

What you will be Doing
Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
* Implement new features, and functionality, and also manage websites using WordPress.
* Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
* Customize and optimize WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
* Optimize website load-time and interactive performance and availability.
* Implement and manage The Loop within WordPress for content display.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with the back-end.
* Design and develop APIs to support various applications and functionalities.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
* Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
*Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What are the Requirements
* Qualified candidates must be available 40 hours/week exclusively in EST. Spoken & written English skills and familiarity with technology are a must.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
* Proven work experience as a WordPress back-end developer.
* Experience with The Loop implementation.
* Solid understanding of front-end technologies including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
* Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
* Be able to build themes and plug-ins from scratch.
* Experience with Domain Configuration.
* Experience with debugging tools in common browsers.
* Experience with Vercel or similar deployment platforms.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
