Back End Developer (Symfony Expert)

We are currently transitioning from an older PHP system utilising Symfony Framework versions 5 and 6 to cutting-edge technology and it is very important that you have used the latest Symfony levels. We are completely redesigning our system and, as a team of four developers, we are seeking an additional developer to bring their past development/ coding experience to the team.

Our project is an Education System that adheres to UK educational standards and regulations, encompassing Curriculum, Subjects, Pathways, Timetables, and more. A key feature is the Live Classroom, where teachers deliver lessons to students through video streaming (either pre-recorded or live). This also includes interactive elements like chat messaging, voice calls, or live video interactions, collectively known as EDSupport. Given these requirements, it’s imperative that our code is clean and optimized. We’re in search of a Backend Developer who meets the following criteria:

1. Profound knowledge of PHP, including its latest features.
2. Comprehensive experience with the Symfony Framework.
3. Ability to write tests.
4. Proficiency in Git operations.
5. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
6. Experience working with Jira tickets/tasks.
7. Capable of adhering to sprint scopes.
8. Possesses strong analytical skills.
9. Availability from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday in the GMT +7 Asia/Jakarta time zone.

It will also be essential if you have the front-end skills and experiences:
- that improve user experience and performance.
- understand the importance of real-time data communication for features like live chat, collaborative editing, or instant feedback ass this is constantly within our learning platform.
- to develop interfaces that are usable by everyone, including users with disabilities for such as visual impairments, hearing impairment, and physical difficulties and those learners with special education needs and disabilities.
- to enhance and to create engaging and interactive elements for a dynamic learning, teaching and delivery experiences.
- understand the importance of safeguarding online
