JOB OVERVIEW

We're hiring an experienced cold caller to book 15-30 minute discovery calls with home service business owners (garage door repair, tree trimmers, spas) for our AI voice agent. The offer is straightforward, the pain is real, and the script works. You dial, you book, you log, you move on.

About the offer:

We sell an AI voice agent that answers every inbound call 24/7 for home service businesses. The AI qualifies the lead, answers common questions, and books the job directly into the business owner's calendar. The pitch is simple: "You're losing X calls a month to voicemail, our AI answers all of them and books them straight into your calendar." High-ROI, easy to demo, and the pain is universal in this vertical.

What you'll be doing:

- Cold calling home service business owners from a pre-qualified list I'll provide
- Following a proven call script and objection handling guide (you don't write it)
- Qualifying prospects and booking 15-30 minute discovery calls onto our calendar
- Logging call outcomes and notes in our CRM after every call
- Reporting daily on dials, conversations, and calls booked

What we provide:

- Full lead list (you do not source unless its a personal advantage to help you with outreach)
- Proven call script and objection handling guide
- Daily targets and clear performance metrics

You're a fit if:

- 1+ year of B2B cold calling (services, SaaS, agency, or similar)
- Native or near-native English with a neutral US accent
- Experience calling blue collar or home service businesses is a strong plus
- Comfortable dialing 40-60 numbers per hour
- Thick skin — you can take rejection and keep your tone clean on the next call
- Available during US business hours (Eastern or Central preferred)
- Reliable internet, headset, and a quiet space
- Door-to-door sales experience is optional but great experience to have

You're not a fit if:

- Your background is consumer telemarketing or solar
- You want to "consult on strategy" — this role is execution, not advisory
- You can't commit to consistent weekly hours (we need predictable dial volume)
- You won't follow a script (you can suggest changes, but the script is the script until we update it together)

Compensation:

- $5/hour base
- 20 hours/week during the 1-week paid trial
- Continued hourly + bonus per booked call that shows up to the discovery call after the trial (if it goes well)
- Trial terms

1-week paid trial (20 hours):

- To extend past the trial: book at least 3 discovery calls that actually show up by end of week
- If we don't hit the threshold, the trial ends and we part as friends — no long-term commitment either way
- To apply (applications missing any of these will not be reviewed)

A 45-60 second voice recording reading the sample opener and pitch below. Read it like you're actually making the call, not like you're reading aloud.

Sample opener: "Hi, this is [name] calling from Good AiDeas. The reason for my call is we're working with garage door companies across the US, and we've been finding that most of them are losing 20-30 calls a month to voicemail and afterhours calls not being picked up or returned. We built an AI receptionist that answers those calls 24/7 and books the job straight into the your team's calendar. Do you have 60 seconds for me to explain how it works?"

Sample pitch (1-2 sentences): "It's a voice AI receptionist. Not a chatbot. It sounds like a real person, takes the caller's info, qualifies the job, and books it. It costs a fraction of a receptionist and never sleeps. Most of our customers are booking 10-20 extra jobs a month within the first 30 days."

And in one sentence: who did you call in your last cold calling role, what were you booking, and what was your booking rate (per hour, per day, or per week.

Provide your hourly rate and weekly availability.
