AutoCAD / Revit Draftsperson

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD / Revit Draftsperson to support residential and industrial drafting projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting hand-drawn sketches, markups, and design concepts into accurate CAD and Revit drawings while making required revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional drafting experience.
Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
Experience using AutoCAD.
Proven experience working on residential and/or industrial drafting projects.
Ability to interpret sketches, markups, and design instructions accurately.
Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and construction documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Create detailed architectural and drafting drawings using Revit and AutoCAD based on sketches, plans, and design instructions.
Convert hand-drawn concepts and marked-up plans into professional digital drawings.
Prepare and update residential house plans, home renovation plans, and industrial site plans.
Make revisions and modifications to drawings based on client or project feedback.
Maintain accuracy and consistency across all project documentation.
Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and drafting standards.
Organize and manage project files and drawing revisions.
Communicate proactively regarding project progress, clarifications, and deadlines.
Deliver completed drafting work within established turnaround times.

Technical Requirements
Must have an active and licensed copy of Revit.
Reliable computer capable of running Revit and AutoCAD efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Australian residential or industrial projects.
Familiarity with local building and drafting standards.
Experience coordinating with architects, designers, builders, or project managers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
