Overall Job Description
I run a digital marketing agency (https://DigitalMediaPositioning.com) and also produce two video podcasts: https://www.youtube.com/@RadioFreeEnterprise which I started as an audio podcast in 2004, and a relatively new show, https://www.youtube.com/@TheSmallSatRevolution

Most of the cuts you will see in these interviews were done live by me using vMix. You will only need to add the intro and outro, make sure the audio sounds good, and then render the finished mp4. I don’t need any color correction and there will be almost no cuts or transitions during the interviews. You will also extract the audio from the finished video for audio podcast syndication.

Over time, I would prefer that you also post the video files to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and the audio files to Libsyn for syndication. This is not critical, only preferred, and only in the future. I will be happy to train you how to perform these tasks if we choose to go in that direction.

Videos for Commercial Clients
Occasionally, I produce videos for clients. These can be YouTube ads, TV ads, training videos, marketing/messaging videos, testimonial videos, etc. I am doing less of this now but you can see samples of the work I have done in the past on this web page: https://digitalmediapositioning.com/ These productions require B-roll stock footage selection (I use StoryBlocks) and more editing than my video podcasts.

Reels, Shorts, and TikToks
It would be great if you could pull short clips from my interviews and turn them into Reels, etc. with captions and the other features that make these videos so engaging. Again, you posting the finished shorts to the various platforms would be preferred. I am also developing a concept for a shorts-only YouTube channel.

Skills and Software
I would prefer that you use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software so that I can make adjustments to projects at my end if necessary. I would like you to be able to create eye-catching thumbnails in Photoshop.

Tasks
Video Editing. Audio Sweetening. Content Repurposing (long form, short form, horizontal, vertical, video, audio, etc.). Posting to YouTube, Libsyn, and social media platforms.
