ArchiCAD Draftperson

As an ArchiCAD Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in translating architectural designs and concepts into technical drawings and plans using ArchiCAD software. Your work will contribute directly to the successful completion of architectural projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with building codes, and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the design director and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
-Translate architectural designs, sketches, and concepts into detailed technical drawings using ArchiCAD software.
-Create floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural drawings according to project specifications and standards.
-Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
-Review and revise drawings based on feedback, revisions, or changes to project requirements.
-Coordinate with the team to ensure timely delivery of drawings and documentation. -Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, reports, and presentations. -Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in architectural drafting and ArchiCAD software.

Minimum 5 years experience as an ArchiCAD Draftsperson or similar role in Australian Residential Projects.
-Proficiency in using ArchiCAD software to create technical drawings and plans.
-Strong understanding of architectural principles, Australian building codes, and construction practices.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting architectural drawings.

-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
-Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

-Knowledge of other architectural software and tools, such as AutoCAD, and 3D Modeler is a plus.

-Portfolio of previous architectural drafting work and projects such as single storey,2-storey and unit development is advantageous.

-Must have your own equipment or already set up WFH, and ArchiCAD software will be provided
