Real Estate Financial Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Coordinator / Property Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day property management operations. This role requires a strong background in property management, tenant relations, rent collections, and maintenance coordination.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable handling tenant communications, and experienced with property management software and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations & Tenant Management
• Communicate with tenants regarding rent payments, account balances, and property-related concerns
• Manage tenant correspondence via phone, email, and messaging platforms
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and tenant requests
• Assist with eviction processing and documentation when required

Rent Collections & Financial Coordination
• Follow up on outstanding balances and rent collections
• Maintain accurate records of tenant payments and account statuses
• Support financial tracking and reporting related to property operations
• Coordinate with management regarding delinquent accounts and collection efforts

Maintenance Coordination
• Receive and manage maintenance requests from tenants
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and repair schedules
• Track work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
• Follow up with tenants and vendors regarding repair progress

Administrative Support
• Maintain accurate records within property management platforms
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and operational tracking
• Support management with day-to-day property operations

Qualifications

- Rent collections experience
- Tenant communication experience
- Maintenance coordination experience
- Eviction processing experience
- Experience using property management platforms such as:
• Buildium
• Rent Manager
• AppFolio
- Strong phone communication and customer service skills
