Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Lead to manage and oversee our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves supervising invoicing, collections, and reporting functions, ensuring timely client payments, and maintaining compliance with company standards. The A/R Lead must excel in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration to support seamless financial operations and optimize cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Management (50%)
* Oversee invoicing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
* Manage collections, follow up on outstanding invoices, and maintain client payment schedules.
* Coordinate with clients regarding payment disputes and resolutions.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Reporting & Analysis (30%)
* Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, tracking aging receivables and cash flow impact.
* Provide insights to management on receivable trends and collection performance.
* Support financial reconciliations and audits in collaboration with the CFO and accounting team.
Collaboration & Process Improvement (20%)
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and finance, for seamless financial operations.
* Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and enhance efficiency.
* Assist with client onboarding as it relates to invoicing and payment terms.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a leadership capacity.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, invoicing, and cash flow management.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and client-facing interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
* Strong organizational and time management skills..
