Position Overview:

The Accounting & Trip Pricing Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate pricing and settlement of trips. This position involves working closely with the operations and accounting teams to verify trip costs, apply appropriate pricing structures, reconcile invoices, and ensure financial accuracy in trip settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

Trip Pricing & Settlement
   •   Review trip details and apply appropriate pricing based on contract terms, distance, vehicle type, and additional services.
   •   Ensure accuracy in trip rates, surcharges, tolls, and gratuities before invoicing.
   •   Audit trip charges against rate agreements and industry benchmarks.
   •   Resolve any pricing discrepancies by coordinating with the operations and reservations teams.

Accounting Support
   •   Assist in processing trip settlements by verifying charges and ensuring accurate payment allocations.
   •   Work with the finance team to reconcile accounts related to trip revenue and expenses.
   •   Generate and review invoices for clients and affiliates, ensuring compliance with Urban Worldwide’s pricing structures.
   •   Assist in preparing financial reports related to trip revenue, margins, and cost efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication
   •   Work closely with dispatch, reservations, and customer service teams to address pricing-related inquiries.
   •   Communicate with affiliates and partners regarding pricing agreements and trip settlements.
   •   Provide support in financial record-keeping and assist in periodic audits as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:
   •   Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
   •   Prior experience in the transportation, hospitality, or logistics industry is a plus.
   •   Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
   •   Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, or other accounting software.
   •   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
   •   Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
