JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HVAC and Plumbing Account Manager who excels in relationship-building and strategic sales. This role will be responsible for proactively assessing current customer performance, identifying opportunities, and anticipating future wholesale plumbing/HVAC needs to deliver solutions so that our customers can grow their business.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Monthly Salary: $1400 USD
- 13th Month Pay
- $500 Yearly Tech Allowance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proactive Selling and growing assigned accounts
- Support all team member-assigned accounts and house accounts
- Continued product and industry knowledge
- Support company initiatives
- Timely and Accurately Clean & Enter Data for assigned accounts

Sales:
- Builds trusted advisor relationships with customers, moving beyond transactional sales.
- Promotes stocked products, offers alternatives, and converts customer requests to stock brands.
- Prioritizes sales promotions and maximizes profit margins by evaluating customer needs and profiles.
- Utilizes the BENDER selling process and articulates competitive advantages.
- Demonstrates and expands product knowledge, attends relevant training, and upsells additional products.
- Resolves customer needs quickly, leveraging internal resources and networks.
- Tracks performance using internal tools like KPIs and dashboards.

Customer Focus:
- Understands customer needs, identifies pain points, and offers tailored solutions.
- Establishes trusted advisor status through active listening and clear communication.
- Leverages company processes and tools for creative problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Drives account planning to meet revenue, mix, and profit goals while adding value.
- Maintains professional communication and upholds company core values.

Time Management:
- Demonstrates effective planning, scheduling, and prioritization of tasks.
- Organizes electronic and paper-based information efficiently.

Quality of Performance
- Follows established procedures to ensure accuracy and high-quality outputs.
- Proactively addresses and reports issues to maintain standards.

MAJOR KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS include, but are not limited to, and are subject to change, are:
- Revenue $ of assigned accounts to plan
- Profit margin $ of assigned accounts to plan
- $ sales order entered
- % of items greater than 14 days w/ promise dates (% of total open line items)


QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST have a strong background in Account Management (Sales)
- Background in the HVAC/Plumbing industry preferred
- At least 2 years in a similar role (1 year in a progressive position required; 2 years preferred).
- Proven product and application experience.
- Wholesale distribution experience (preferred).
- A high school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
