## About the Role

Atmospheric Thinking is looking for an **AI Website Designer & Developer** to help build, update, and manage websites across multiple platforms and internal projects. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable using AI tools, modern website builders, and project management systems to move quickly while maintaining strong quality, organization, and communication.

This position will focus on building websites using platforms such as **Squarespace, Wix, Elementor, Webflow, Lovable, and other major website builders**. The ideal candidate should be highly adaptable, comfortable learning new tools, and able to manage a large number of projects at once.

A major part of this role will include using **Lovable daily** for both internal and external projects. The person in this position should be able to use AI-assisted development tools to create website pages, dashboards, landing pages, internal tools, client deliverables, prototypes, and other web-based assets.

This is not a client-facing role involving phone calls or video meetings. However, the role will still support client deliverables, including website updates, revision notes, report dashboards, draft emails, internal documentation, project updates, and other materials needed to support client work.

The team will also have **daily start-of-day calls** to review current tasks, priorities, blockers, deadlines, and project expectations.

## Key Responsibilities

### Website Design & Development

* Build, edit, and maintain websites using platforms such as Squarespace, Wix, Elementor, Webflow, Lovable, and other major website builders.
* Create websites, landing pages, service pages, location pages, blog layouts, forms, and basic conversion-focused page structures.
* Use AI tools to speed up website creation, content layout, wireframing, development, testing, and revisions.
* Work on both external client websites and internal Atmospheric Thinking projects.
* Use Lovable regularly to build web-based tools, dashboards, prototypes, internal systems, and client-facing digital assets.
* Translate project requirements into clean, functional, and visually organized website pages.
* Make website revisions based on internal notes, client feedback, QA reviews, and project manager instructions.
* Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, responsive, and easy to navigate.
* Follow brand guidelines, project instructions, and established design direction.

### AI & Tool Usage

* Use AI tools daily to assist with website development, content structuring, design support, troubleshooting, and workflow efficiency.
* Use Lovable on a regular basis for multiple internal and external projects.
* Stay comfortable experimenting with new AI tools, website builders, plugins, integrations, and development workflows.
* Use AI responsibly while still reviewing work for accuracy, design quality, and client readiness.
* Help improve internal processes for using AI in website design and development.

### Project Management & Organization

* Use ClickUp or similar project management systems to manage tasks, deadlines, notes, priorities, and updates.
* Handle a large caseload of website and development-related projects at one time.
* Keep project tasks organized and updated consistently.
* Provide clear written updates on project progress, blockers, completed work, pending items, and next steps.
* Attend daily start-of-day calls to review priorities and align on current responsibilities.
* Follow assigned timelines and communicate early when a deadline, task, or project requirement needs clarification.
* Balance multiple projects without losing track of details, feedback, or deliverables.

### Client Deliverable Support

Although this role is not client-facing through phone or video calls, it will involve preparing and supporting client deliverables such as:

* Website drafts and revision updates.
* Report dashboards.
* Internal and client-facing notes.
* Draft emails for project updates.
* Website QA notes.
* Revision summaries.
* Progress updates.
* Design and development documentation.
* Screenshots, walkthrough notes, or project summaries when needed.

### Quality Assurance

* Review websites for visual consistency, mobile responsiveness, broken links, formatting issues, missing content, and usability problems.
* Test forms, buttons, links, embedded elements, and basic user flows.
* Ensure completed work matches the assigned task instructions.
* Make sure website pages are polished before being submitted for internal review.
* Pay close attention to spacing, layout, readability, design consistency, and basic SEO structure.

## Required Skills & Experience

* Experience building websites using one or more major website builders such as Squarespace, Wix, Elementor, Webflow, Shopify, or similar platforms.
* Comfortable using AI tools to support website creation, development, project execution, and workflow improvements.
* Experience or strong willingness to use Lovable daily.
* Ability to learn new website platforms, AI tools, and internal systems quickly.
* Strong understanding of website structure, page layouts, responsive design, and user-friendly navigation.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at once while staying organized.
* Strong written communication skills.
* Ability to provide consistent updates without needing constant reminders.
* Comfortable working in ClickUp or another project management platform.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to follow instructions, revise work based on feedback, and meet deadlines.
* Comfortable working independently after receiving direction.

## Preferred Skills

* Experience with Elementor and WordPress.
* Experience with Webflow.
* Experience with Lovable or similar AI app-building tools.
* Basic understanding of SEO-friendly website structure.
* Basic understanding of landing page design and conversion-focused layouts.
* Experience creating dashboards, internal tools, or simple web apps.
* Basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript knowledge is a plus but not required.
* Experience working for a digital agency, marketing agency, web design company, or similar environment.
* Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Figma, Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI platforms.

## Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building websites, learning new tools, and using AI to move faster without sacrificing quality. They should be highly organized, comfortable juggling multiple projects, and able to provide consistent project updates.

This person does not need to be on client calls, but they should understand that their work directly supports client deliverables. They should be able to take direction, work through revisions, and help bring website projects from idea to completion.

They should also be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities may shift, multiple projects may be active at once, and daily communication is important.

* Attend daily start-of-day calls to review priorities and current tasks.

* Update tasks with progress, blockers, and completed work.
* Work on multiple website design and development tasks throughout the day.
* Use Lovable and other AI tools consistently.
* Complete assigned website updates, builds, revisions, dashboards, notes, and internal deliverables.
* Communicate clearly when something is completed, delayed, blocked, or needs review.
