AI-Augmented Web Designer — Elementor / WordPress

We are a US-based web agency building WordPress websites for local businesses. We use Claude Code — an AI assistant — as our primary tool for building and editing websites. Your job is to work alongside Claude Code to design, build, and refine client websites in Elementor and WordPress.

This role is equal parts design and execution. You need a good eye for web design AND the ability to make edits directly in WordPress, Elementor, and occasionally in code when Claude Code guides you through it.

Your responsibilities:

- Build and edit Elementor pages based on mockups and client direction
- Use Claude Code to make website edits, code changes, and frontend updates
- Apply design judgment to get pages looking polished and professional
- Review and QA your work on mobile and desktop before handoff
- Communicate clearly on task status

Requirements:

- Strong design taste — spacing, typography, color, visual balance
- Some design background (formal, freelance, or strong self-taught portfolio)
- Comfortable editing websites directly in WordPress and Elementor
- Comfortable reading and lightly editing code with AI assistance
- Fluent in working with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT
- Good written English, self-directed
