Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Adobe After Effects Video Editor to join our team and work on high-quality social media marketing videos for our agency's clients. YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT COMPUTER SETUP, INCLUDING A FAST PROCESSOR AND ENOUGH POWER TO HANDLE ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS WITHOUT DELAYS. IF YOUR COMPUTER CANNOT EFFICIENTLY RENDER AND PROCESS AFTER EFFECTS VIDEOS IN A TIMELY MANNER, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

This is a part-time contractor role, and your responsibilities will include editing cinematic content for social media platforms such as IG Reels and TikToks. We need someone who can work quickly and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Bonuses: If the Contractor’s video work leads to over 1 million views per video, a bonus of 20 USD will be given to them.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production:
Edit video content for social media platforms (IG Reels, TikToks, etc.).
Perform color grading (especially S-Log footage) to ensure cinematic looks.
Apply cinematic effects to enhance social media content.
Edit video clips for optimal pacing, flow, and composition.
Perform light audio editing, including cleaning up background noise and adjusting audio levels.
Add transitions, motion graphics, and captions to videos.
Ensure edits are high-quality and meet the standards required for social media platforms.

Video Creation Process:

Work from detailed instructions provided via Notion, Google Drive, or audio notes.
Assemble video content according to creative guidelines while maintaining brand consistency and engagement.
Research & Trend Incorporation:
Occasionally tasked with researching viral content and trending ideas for social media.
Incorporate these trends into your editing to maintain relevance and freshness.

Time Management:

Maintain quick turnaround times for projects, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (this is a must).
Strong knowledge of color grading and creating cinematic looks for video content.
Experience creating cinematic effects for social media videos such as IG Reels and TikToks.

Expert in video editing software like:

Adobe Premiere Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
CapCut Pro
Experience with audio editing, including noise removal and audio level adjustments.
Ability to work with b-roll, graphics, and audio provided by the team, as well as the ability to source additional copyright-free assets when necessary.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-standard edits, including transitions, motion graphics, and creative video assets.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers.

RAM: 16 GB (32 GB or more preferred)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD RX 580 (RTX 3060 or higher recommended)
SUFFICIENT RAM AND GPU TO ENSURE SMOOTH RENDERING TIMES FOR HIGH-QUALITY SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS.
A fast SSD (500 GB or higher) is required for quick file access and smooth editing.
