Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support tax preparation and liaise with accountants as needed.
Organize and manage financial documentation for audits and reporting.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or in a related role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and financial management tools.
Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing is a plus.
