Carried by my sole passion for writing, film, culture, and politics, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a degree in Communication Arts, Major in Writing. My formation in critical theory, literary criticism, and social politics has laid the framework for my writings on all things art and culture. Since then, it has always been my mission to write profound stories that are grounded in truth and humanity.
In working for provincial media publications at the beginning of my career, I was fortunate enough to engage and conduct interviews with locals to bring their stories into the spotlight in our 'Forum Features' segment at Tarlac Forum. I also delved into the sphere of local politics, covering a wide range of stories from administrative projects to tension and controversies, and even our 'Bantay Boto' coverage of the 2025 Midterm Elections, which allowed me to garner experiences in various aspects of journalism and community development.
I also try to pursue my creative endeavors every now and then. Working as the Literary Editor in the seventeenth issue of Pananaw—the communal literary folio of UPLB, I gained further appreciation for literature as a medium of expression, which in return, is reflected into my writings. I also show my love for the art of film through workshops and participation in a few productions. All of these have contributed greatly to the values I hold as a writer.
