Profile Description

Senior Software Engineer with over 15 years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise-scale applications across insurance, fintech, and e-commerce domains.
For the past 7 years, I’ve been working end-to-end across frontend and backend, with a strong foundation in Java, Spring MVC, Angular, and relational databases. Much of my work involves supporting long-running production systems, improving performance, and handling real-world edge cases in platforms used daily by underwriters and business teams.
Alongside my enterprise role, I’m currently building an independent SMS Gateway platform using NestJS, Node.js, and Next.js, enabling foreign clients to send SMS to Philippine mobile numbers. This work focuses on abstracting telco SMPP integrations behind secure, scalable, API-first services and applying asynchronous design patterns to practical integration problems.
I’ve been working fully remote with international teams for over 8 years, and I’m comfortable owning features independently, collaborating across time zones, and supporting systems in production. Open to remote roles, including mid-shift and night-shift schedules.
