Music or score is one of the important aspects of filmmaking. It sets the tone and atmosphere of the scene and the the film as a whole. Although I don't know how to compose my own music to score a film, but I know I have good ears enough to know what kind of music is fitted to what the film is trying to tell---and it is a part of the process of storytelling.
