I care about understanding people before touching Figma. Whether talking to hospital HR teams for 1NURSE or learning how truck drivers think for TruckLoads, research is where the real design work happens.
At 1NURSE I ran both designer and product manager roles concurrently, which sharpened how I think about design in terms of development effort, business priorities, and user adoption.
I'm drawn to products where the users are doing work that genuinely matters. Getting those tools right is the part of this job I find most meaningful.
