Fullstack Wordpress Developer / N8N Automations / Self Hosted Supabase

Serving as the lead WordPress developer at a fast-paced digital agency, I am responsible for the end-to-end development of custom WordPress themes and plugins for a diverse portfolio of clients spanning e-commerce, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate sectors. I architect scalable theme structures from the ground up — writing semantic PHP templates, modular SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript — while ensuring every deliverable meets performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices. A major focus of this role has been leading the agency's transition to a fully Gutenberg-based workflow, where I developed a custom block library using React and the @wordpress/scripts toolchain that is now used across all new client projects. Beyond coding, I serve as a technical point of contact for clients, translating business requirements into technical solutions, presenting prototypes, and ensuring on-time delivery. I also conduct code reviews and actively mentor junior developers, helping establish internal coding standards that improved team consistency and reduced QA cycles significantly.

Designed and developed fully custom WooCommerce stores from the ground up, including custom product templates, category pages, cart, checkout, and thank-you page flows — all built without relying on page builders. Implemented custom product types using WooCommerce's product class architecture, enabling clients to sell configurable, subscription-based, and bundled products tailored to their specific business models. Ensured every storefront was fully responsive, fast-loading, and conversion-optimized.

Developed fully custom WordPress themes built specifically for the Elementor ecosystem, ensuring seamless compatibility with Elementor Free and Elementor Pro. Designed lightweight, performance-optimized theme foundations that served as the perfect canvas for Elementor-powered page building — stripping out bloat, implementing proper enqueueing, and registering custom theme locations for Elementor's Theme Builder (header, footer, single post, archive, and 404 templates). Delivered themes that gave clients complete design freedom inside Elementor without sacrificing page speed or code quality.

In this fully remote role, I was responsible for developing and maintaining custom WordPress solutions for a wide variety of clients, working closely with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality websites on tight deadlines. I specialized in creating flexible, reusable theme components and custom plugins powered by Advanced Custom Fields Pro, allowing content editors to manage complex page layouts without touching code. A significant part of my work involved performance auditing and optimization — analyzing Core Web Vitals, implementing caching layers, optimizing database queries, and compressing assets — consistently lifting Google PageSpeed scores by 30+ points across client sites. I also took ownership of the development pipeline, setting up staging environments, managing version control with Git, and deploying updates safely using WP-CLI to minimize downtime and risk.
