I have hands-on experience in Shopify Dropshipping product research using a structured process to identify products with strong selling potential while maintaining profitable margins. My research methods include: • Facebook Ads Library – I look for products with active ads running for at least 10 days, which may indicate consistent advertising/ active ads. I then verify the product on AliExpress by checking supplier ratings, number of orders, product pricing, shipping availability to the US, and shipping costs. • Google Search & Competitor Analysis – I search for competitors selling the product, analyze their website traffic using SimilarWeb and Store Detector, and compare their pricing with AliExpress suppliers. I also review supplier ratings, order volume, and shipping costs to evaluate product viability. To help store owners maximize profitability, I calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) using a 3x pricing strategy while ensuring the suggested selling price remains competitive. I document all research findings in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including competitor and supplier links, product pricing, shipping fees, supplier ratings, order volume, estimated COGS, and other relevant data for easy review.
