Responsibilities:
-Manage end-to-end credentialing process for new and existing healthcare staff (RNs, LPNs, Physicians, Mid-Level Providers, Ancillary Health Professionals, etc.).
· Verify and maintain active licensure, certifications, education, and professional references through primary source verification (e.g., Nursys, NPDB, FSMB, CGFNS).
· Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, DFARS, HIPAA) and client-specific credentialing requirements.
· Collect and manage employee health and immunization documentation (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, etc.).
· Process and track background checks, OIG/SAM exclusion screenings, and drug screenings.
· Compile, review, and submit Credentialing Packets (CP) in accordance with government timelines and Military Treatment Facility (MTF)/facility-specific checklists.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with Federal Records Retention standards using credentialing database/software (e.g., Bullhorn, Laboredge,
· Proactively notify tea-----------mbers and candidates of expiring credentials and follow up to ensure timely renewals.
· Collaborate with Recruiters, HR, Program Managers, and client Credentialing Departments to meet staffing deadlines.
· Partner closely with Recruitment, Program Management, Human Resources, and QA to ensure workforce readiness and full document compliance prior to contract deployment.
· Assist in preparation for government audits, contract readiness evaluations, Joint Commission surveys, and internal quality assurance reviews.
· Assist with onboarding paperwork and ensure documentation completeness prior to employment start dates.
· Participate in ongoing process improvement and standardization initiatives that enhance the efficiency and integrity of the credentialing process across multiple contracts
