Beyond the Resume: The Story Behind the Application
We are not a family that waits for rescue. We build.
Over the past few months, while navigating one of the most difficult seasons of our lives, I have continued doing what I have always done: finding solutions. I have sold assets, explored new income streams, accepted side work, started building a small café from available resources, and sent hundreds of applications in search of the right opportunity. As a 41-year-old solo mother of three, daughter of a senior citizen, community volunteer, animal rescuer, and e-commerce professional with more than 13 years of experience, giving up was never an option.
But my story did not begin here. Long before I became an e-commerce professional, I learned how to create opportunities where none seemed to exist. I sold candies as a child. As a student, I became an Avon and Natasha dealer. I worked my way through different roles—from saleslady, waitress, library aide, nanny, and service worker to entrepreneur, online seller, and business operator.
Crucially, for the past decade, I have served as a "Big Sister" and trusted mentor to hundreds of Filipino resellers nationwide and abroad. I have functioned as a powerful motivator and leadership anchor in both sales performance and personal development—building unbreakable business relationships from the ground up. At 41, my age is my greatest competitive edge; it represents mature emotional intelligence, real-world crisis management, and the proven ability to lead, execute, and constantly push teams to reach and shatter high-ticket goals natively.
I come from a family of hardworking people. My mother, despite limited educational opportunities, has always been an entrepreneur at heart. My late father had only a Grade 1 education, yet he became one of the most respected and sought-after master carpenters in our province. He taught me that excellence is not determined by titles, degrees, or circumstances, but by character, integrity, and the quality of one's work. Those values continue to guide my execution parameters today.
Professionally, I bring native experience in:
• E-commerce Operations & Social Media Management
• Community Building & Reseller Network Mentorship
• High-Retention Short-Form Video Editing (CapCut)
• Graphic Layout & PowerPoint Presentation Design (Canva)
• Customer Engagement, Online Sales, & Lead Generation
• Multi-Channel Workflow Optimization & Operations Support
For many years, my family and I have volunteered within our community. We have helped students, assisted neighbors in need, participated in community initiatives, and cared for rescued cats and dogs. We believe that when we are blessed, we should become a blessing to others. My children are among my greatest motivations. My eldest is a working scholar. My daughter dreams of dedicating her life to healthcare. My youngest reminds me every day that creativity survives even during difficult seasons. They are part of my "why."
But there is another foundation beneath everything I do: My faith. For more than 27 years, my Christian faith has shaped how I serve people, how I respond to challenges, and how I show up when life becomes difficult. It reminds me that excellence is an act of stewardship, integrity matters even when nobody is watching, and every opportunity is a responsibility—not an entitlement.
I am not asking for sympathy. I am asking for an opportunity. I have been a working student, a seller, a creator, an entrepreneur, a leader, a daughter, a mother, and a provider. And today, I am also an applicant. Not because I have run out of strength, but because I know exactly what I can contribute when given the chance.
If you choose to hire me, you are not hiring someone who gives up when things become difficult. You are hiring someone who has spent her entire life finding a way forward. All I need is one "Yes." And I will do everything in my power to make it one of the best decisions you make.
